Word To Your Mother, Jensen Interceptor Announce Debut Album

The Sydney-based producer will release it through Maceo Plex’s Lone Romantic imprint…

Come next mother’s day you better up your game and take a leaf out of Jensen Interceptor’s playbook: he dedicated a whole album of originals to his mother. Look, it might be it an album filled with electro and EBM and his mom might not really get any of it, but the sentiment is still there.

Sydney’s Jensen Interceptor has been tweaking his super-powered productions for well over a decade now. Producing alongside long-time friend Jordan Feller, he came to the fore through Australia’s Bang Gang crew before going on to release (alongside Feller) with staples such as Turbo Records, Kitsune and Spectral Sound. And now under the Jensen Interceptor moniker the producer has enamoured the likes of Boys Noize, Helen Hauff, Radio Slave and more. (That is a heavy support list)

In what is even heavier news, the Australian has announced the release of his debut full-length LP, 'Mother' - a ten- track album featuring collabs alongside Defekt, Assembler Code and The Hacker. His mother should be proud ‘cause the previews sound sweaty, heavy and pretty damn dense.

Oh, did we mention it is getting released on Lone Romantic, Maceo Plex’s label? Well, it is. The release date for this beauty is the 4th of November. Tell the whole family about….
