How to get big: Mele

Emerging tech-house act Melé has been doing all the right things of late, and it’s showing.

Melé is known for his Brazilian-infused house music which can be spotted at the drop of a hat. Whether it’s on his record ‘The Latin Track’, ‘Chi Town’ or ‘Atlantic’, immediately recognising his work is easier than pointing out your favourite flavour of ice cream.

Not only has he signed his records to some of the most exciting labels in his genre (Edible, DFTD, Lobster Boy) and had his remixes feature many more, but Melé has also grabbed the attention of global party brand elrow. Sorry, ‘grabbed the attention’ is a bit of an understatement, he’s touring with them as an INTERNATIONAL resident - daym.

elrow is widely regarded as one of the best party-throwers on earth. They’ve been behind countless large-scale events with even more of the worlds best DJs: Claptone, Solardo, Eats Everything, Pan-Pot, Seth Troxler, Art Department, Riva Starr - you get the picture. So, as I said, he’s doing well.

Melé has only ventured to Australia once before (in 2017), one year later he’s coming back locked and loaded for six dates, five in Aus and one in NZ. Get ready to shake your booty and pack your confetti canon, this is gonna be fun.
