The Living Room Might Be Your New Favourite Festival

'Just open your heart! Just open your mind! And let your love flow like the sunshine...'

Octave One's most well known track, 'Blackwater', never fails to lift the spirits of any dancefloor. But watching Octave One perform it live is where the real magic lies...

The brothers Burden always seem possessed by their music, swaying together in a sweaty unity that is infectious and exhilarating to watch. Watching an Octave One set is experiencing live techno in it's purest, distilled form. And the good news is that the they will be returning for the inaugural edition of new festival, The Living Room.

It will all go down on October the 13th at Federation Sqaure's The Paddock, and promises 'an outdoor living room - couches, rugs, lamps and the comforts of home, all underneath the Melbourne skyline.' Also add 'state-of-the-art sound, lighting, food, markets and most importantly, a dance floor of like-minded party enthusiasts' and you can tickle us interested.

Joining Octave One will be Fuse boss and all round nice guy, Enzo Siragusa, who absolutely nailed the Friday night at Pitch Music & Arts festival last year. His rolling tech grooves should perfectly compliment Octave One's Detroit stylings. Also added to the bill is everyone's favourite DJ, Boogs.
