Sven Väth Announces Huge Headline Show In Melbourne
Can’t make it to Pitch Music and Arts? Have no fear, Sven Väth has announced a headline show at Melbourne’s Brown Alley….
Sven Väth, the multi faceted, creative visionary, who can be considered a founding father of the techno movement, is returning to Melbourne with a new headline show just announced! As a key name within the industry, it’s hard not to feel a little intimidated by the sheer grandeur and depth of his long standing career.
Väth has an insatiable ability to produce dance music that delves into the worlds of ambient, electronic and trance, whilst maintaining strong roots within the techno domain; he’s entirely within a league of his own. Just listen to his 1998 release ‘Face It’ if you still need convincing of his epic-ness (which come on, why would you), or perhaps you need a little longer to soak up the essence of Sven Väth, in which case just take a look at his most recent Boiler Room x Eristoff (Into The Dark) in Marseille.
Returning to Australia after spending 1 year away (far too long), Väth will undoubtedly be accompanied by an abundance of new vinyl to play during his sets at Pitch Music and Arts, Days Like This, and this latest headline event at Melbourne’s Brown Alley on March 10th. At this point, we can only cross our fingers that his part time dancer/full time brother Holger accompanies him down under, to show all of us how to well and truly get down…
