Sterac To Headline Sub Club

A Dutch Techno Legend returns for an intimate Melbourne club show…

As another Australian summer commences, the Melbourne scene collectively begins to up the ante with a range of stellar events. For a prime example of this, look no further than Sub Club on December 13th , where the Stable Music crew will host Amsterdam’s Steve Rachmad [Klockworks/Delsin]. Though Rachmad has a plethora of monikers at his disposal, he comes to Melbourne as Sterac, a side of him that looks to showcase a deeper, darker brand of electronic music. It’s an approach that will more than suit the ever-improving Sub Club venue, these days boasting a second room and a markedly improved light and sound setup.

As Sterac, Rachmad’s discography is impressive to say the least, releasing on notable imprints not limited to Klockworks, Delsin, Mote Evolver, Indigo Aera and the globally recognised Afterlife - a testament to both his quality and variance as a producer. Appearance-wise, Rachmad has played across all corners of the globe, gracing some of the world’s biggest clubs such as Berghain, Bassiani & Fabric London

In the act of adding Melbourne’s own Sub Club to his performance manifesto, the event is also set to see a B2B between Sterac and Melbourne’s own techno specialist Matt Radovich, which is sure to be a highlight of the night.

Rachmad’s headline performance will be an irresistible drawcard for Melbournians, with a strong supporting lineup comprised of ACM [LIVE], Craig McWhinney, kritical & Ranjit Nijjer.
