It's been a long time coming, but the man responsible for appropriating himself with the power of all Newcastle's men has finally announced his Australian debut.
Newcastle’s Geoff Kirkwood, aka Man Power, has been toiling away with his brand of 'intergalactic house' for well over five years. In that time he has endeared himself to all the tastemakers. So yeah, we love his tunes (💁🏻♂️). They can fluctuate from disco to techno to slo-mo to indie -disco and back again, all in the space of two releases. In short, he indiscriminately produces music freed from the shackles of genre constraints. But don't take our word, the proof is in the pudding, and labels including Life & Death, Hivern Discs, Optimo Trax, ESP Institute and Correspondent has all signed his releases. Jeez, brag much?
His taste for music extends to more organic sounds too, as he displayed on his recent 3hr plus Melodic Diggers mix which traversed it all. It is perfect for kicks-ons. See you at Glamorama.
