FIRST:

Paul Ritch - Pulse (Ron Costa Remix) [2014]

‘The first record I ever purchased was actually ‘Paranoid’ by Black Sabbath. But if we’re talking in the realms of house and techno, it’d have to be this remix by the legendary Ron Costa. The first time I heard it was in a featured Thump mix by Nicholas Nice and it absolutely blew my socks off. It's quite minimal in nature, but that groovy sub bass paired with the deep growling vocal instantly had me hooked. Still yet to drop this at a gig!’

Classic:

Josh Wink - Don’t Laugh [1995]

‘An absolute rave classic by the master Josh Wink. Chunky 303 bassline, hypnotic vocals and groovy drums is the perfect recipe for a 3 AM wall slapper. Needs a 2021 remaster!’

Current:

Extrawelt - Mr Wednesday [2020]

‘Accidentally stumbled across this track the other day and it instantly blew my mind. These boys are in a class of their own. All of Extrawelt’s tracks are extremely unique and this is no exception! 7 minutes of eccentric modulation on that lead synth is guaranteed to get your toes tapping! Will be giving this a solid rinse once gigs are back in full swing.’
