Local Form: Moskalin

Some people say it matters, and others say it doesn’t. And if you think about it, it really doesn’t so stop freaking out…

Nir Moskal is the man behind the Doesn’t Matter brand, and over the years he has been plugging away at creating parties with a damn sweet vibe soundtracked by some proper deep, melodic tunes. Not only is he a sweet fucking dude, but he is one of the most underrated DJs in Melbourne.

Currently, he is prepping for the Doesn’t Matter show this Friday night at Revolver where he will be hosting Polymath Records boss Third Son (check our Deep From interview with him here). On top of that, he is also organising a NYE camping shindig called Comfort Zone, if you feel the need for some time out before the new year get in touch with Nir and get the deet’s.

We asked Nir for a tune that he is feeling right now, and as it turns out he is feeling a classic from his upcoming international guest… good timing or what?! And remember, whatever you are feeling right it doesn’t matter…. (unless it is a really happy vibe in which case just go with it)

‘Although I don’t play this tune as much as I used to, I’ve chosen Delorean by Third Son as my spotlight track. This song embodies everything the Doesn’t Matter sound strives to achieve. It’s dark and progressive while maintaining a funky yet driving atmosphere. Delorean from start to finish is much like Melbourne weather - unpredictable and it keeps you guessing.’
