Music is an ever-evolving beast, always drawing inspiration from the past to create something new (well, hopefully), while some artists pay homage to that history by staying true to the roots of their inspiration. Earth Boys by name and earthy, organic-sounding by nature, the Brooklyn-based duo produce music which falls into the latter.

Their sound is deep yet accessible, always edging on the verge of fun: the sort of tunes you would expect to hear at a pool party. You have heard this all before, but somehow they still manage to make it sound fresh and new: Saxophones, delicious rhythms and synths so thick you could sleep on it like a hammock are all part of the Earth Boys production DNA.

 They don’t just pay their respects to what has been, they cover themselves in its gloss and strut it down the catwalk loud and proud.

On their debut album ‘eboys’ you can find them in full flight. It is the sort of album that makes a statement by nudging you to say ‘hello, I’m your new favourite producer’, or ‘hello, put me on during your pool party’.
