Planète Tapped By Section 8 For Monthly Residency

What is better than chilling outside whilst having beers with your mates listening to a soundtrack that can only be described as ‘sensational’? 

This is pretty much the vibe at Section 8 every day/night. Now they’ve taken their game one step further by announcing that for the month of January local boy genius/producer Planète will be curating their Thursdays. Many purveyors of Melbourne Dance Music has likened the producer (known as Dion Tartaglione to his parents) to be our very own Bonobo or Four Tet. High praise indeed, but if you consider his back catalogue of music you could definitely say they have a strong case: Deep, melodic rhythms and melodies that is meant for the mind as much as it affects the dancefloor.

As you can imagine an artist who has been showered with such accolades must possess quite the musical taste, and this no more evident then the roster of scheduled acts he has tapped on the shoulder.
