Arteq Turns Four In Style

Are you up for a birthday celebration featuring no less than three international DJs? You’re in luck …

Raxon… Raxoff

Are you doing anything on the 25th of May? Well, cancel it. The Arteq Productions crew is turning four, and you are cordially invited to join them. In the time since their inception they’ve forged ahead with one goal in mind: to bring sick times to these sick times we find ourselves in. We all need to forget about shit every now and again, and for the last four years they’ve obliged Melbourne with a platform to do just that.

For their upcoming shebang, they promise to deliver ‘wall-to-wall world-class production’ which sounds pretty enticing. If you are still not convinced, would the idea of 'audiovisual orgasm’ get you over the line? C’mon, Christians aside, who doesn’t like an orgasm?!

Their annual B-day bashes are always one for the memory banks, and this year they are going full-out with a par-tay inside Shed 9. Arteq main man Anthony Michetti also told us that the event will be more than just the music: ‘We will have charity initiatives, world-class visuals, food and drink, live art…’, but he is quick to add that the event will also feature ‘…3 of the most prolific artists in the world right now.’ So who are these acts?

What about Germany’s Florian Kruse, a man known for his fine productions on Poker Flat and Katermukke? Do you like to bang? Well, Mark Broom does too, and his nuclear techno will give you permission to bang away. Then there is Raxon, who might just be the act we are most excited about. They don’t come more versatile than the Barcelona-based producer. His music has been signed to a diverse list of labels from techno haven Truesoul to Solomun’s Diynamic imprint and even Maceo Pex’s Ellum Recordings. Yup, the guy knows his shit. The local support will come from Arteq residents Stefan Knez and Jeremy.

Oh, every ticket bought also includes access to the afterparty at 28 Francis Street (top of Bottom End) where the internationals will be playing all night long from 10.00pm – 7.00am.

The reasons to attend is getting longer by the minute so clear the schedule, do your push-ups, get excited and buy a ticket here
