FJAAK, Objekt And SPFDJ. That Is All

Three Pitch Music & Arts acts announce a massive sideshow….

We are not even three weeks into 2020, and Stranger and Bunker will combine forces to host three of the most talked-about acts today. Look, we don’t like hyperbole but what the hell: FJAAK (live), SPFDJ and Objekt round out what could be the most exciting techno lineup Melbourne will see this year.

The boys behind FJAAK might have the best social media game in all of techno. They do whatever the fuck they want and regularly post photos of their biggest love: blunts. As it happens, they also craft live sets that can convert your parents into Tresor regulars. The hype is real, miss them at your own peril.

When it comes to SPFDJ… well, we are just going to leave this Hector Oaks quote here: "Her Insta was deleted for nudity & offensive content. Plays techno dystopia, gabber kicks looking angry but classy. May get with the staff, drink other artists beers, regrets it when she wakes up but forgets it when she steps up. Book at own risk.” To back that up she also plays some of the hardest sets this side of the new decade, a style Ben UFO calls ‘utterly ruthless. Make sure to bring your swim floats for her set.

It is no secret that Objekt is one of the most technical DJs on the planet. His mixes are worthy of being put in an art gallery. He can mix a square with a triangle and make it seem natural; he can mix a 4BPM track with a gabber track and make it seem effortless; he can mix oil with water and make it seem like a natural law of nature. You get the idea, he mixes really well and might actually be an alien. It will all go down at The Bottom End - and you best get tickets now as a sell-out is pretty much guaranteed.
