Recently, we featured ‘Disparity’, the new single from Melbourne’s Rino Darusman. It’s an exquisite slice of electronic music filled with a maturity that belies its status as a debut. The producer might only be one release deep, but his music already packs an emotional punch that should resonate with fans of producers like Bonobo and Four Tet. We love giving a platform to local talent, and Rino seemed the perfect choice to start our new mix series. And boy, he did not disappoint. Across 60 minutes he deftly mixes house, breaks, ambient, atmosphere, cosmic, electronica and even hip hop.
