EVENT: Papa Smurf DJ Stream From Regent Theatre
Possibly 2020’s most anticipated DJ stream is upon us…
Yuss, everyone’s favourite smurf has finally announced a long-awaited DJ set. No, we’re not talking about the one with the blonde hair (Smurfette), we mean Papa Smurf, the bona fide local legend and one-man-band whose record bag is stacked with old-school dance. It will come in the form of a live stream and will be his first DJ set since he conquered Pitch Music & Arts earlier this year. Local agency Novel will be hosting the stream, and as you can expect from the team behind Let Them Eat Cake and B3, it won’t be a normal affair. Enter stage right Melbourne’s Regent Theatre, that regal old building on Collins Street that has hosted world-class theatre productions from The Lion King to Wicked. Now they will play host to their most prestigious event yet, classy trance from a veteran in Melbourne dance. We can’t wait.
