It's not a secret: we rate the sweet selections of DJ Niamh. Her versatility is always impressive, but what's genuinely commendable is her ability to craft mixes… nay stories... filled with engaging narratives. It's like an aural world-building exercise in which you can completely lose yourself. Forget about going to the movies (because we are in lockdown lol); grab a box of popcorn and listen to this. If we had to describe this mix as a movie, it would probably fall under cyber-dystopic-sci-fi with massive sandworms directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet. We know, fresh concept: you heard it here first.
But for real, this mix has it all: from thick tech groovers and squelchy acid to silvery electro and energetic techno. There is no smooth way of putting this, but it's a sick mix, one for repeated listens.
